For more than seven decades, Dal Richards & his Orchestra have delighted Canadian with memorable dance music.
A Vancouver legend, Dal continues to swing - leading his orchestra of talented musicians in a blend of unique sounds that capture the best of the big band era, along with jazz, rock and pop standards from the 1930s to today. He's played small towns and big cities throughout the province - and continues to bring his unique sound to British Columbians from White Rock to Whistler, New Westminster to Inuvik and beyond.

Saturday, June 26th
The Dal Richards Orchestra will kick off a swinging weekend of jazz in Gastown on in Maple Tree Square. Dal and his 16-piece big band - with featured singers Jennifer Hayes, Diane Lines, Bria Skonberg and Jamie Croil will take to the stage at Carrall and Water Streets from 1 till 2 on Saturday, June 26th.
Sunday, June 27th
The Dal Richards quartet featuring Diane Lines and Bria Skonberg, will return to the Lamplighter Pub in Gastown for a late afternoon of swinging jazz on Sunday afternoon, June 27th from 5 till 7 pm. Good food, great fun, and fabulous music... a great way to wrap up a Jazz Festival weekend in Gastown.
